We offer a unique, bespoke, prototypical weathering service, helping bring your model railway to life, by making it look as realistic as possible!

Using real life reference pictures we will tailor a weathering effect to your exact specification from a light weathering of well maintained stock to the run down unloved look of the late 90's.

Specialising in OO gauge models, but all gauges & eras catered for & any of your rolling stock; all brands, classes, wagons & coaches are treated to the Colwick Park experience. No job is too big or too small - with bulk discounts available!

All stock will be treated as if it's Colwick Park stock and weathered as if it were our own. As part of our weathering service, all stock will be cleaned & prepped before being weathered & sealed afterwards with a clear matt varnish. Loco's will also receive a wheel clean and test run around the Colwick Park layout!

The beauty of our weathering is that people stop & do a double take & can't, at first glance, tell if its a model or the real thing on the network so treat yourself to a bit Colwick Park too!

We achieve the realistic look of your weathered model through multiple coats of various colours & techniques that will build depth & texture into your custom weathering package. You can select from a list of features using the below link to build a combination that suits your desired look.

*Leadtimes*

Please be aware that our weathering service is a multi-layer weathering system & requires adequate time between each stage to properly cure. With that in mind, weathering leadtimes can vary depending on the level of detail required & may take up to 4 weeks, but you will be advised of an estimate leadtime when quoted.
